Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Lead / Software Engineering Manager to drive our Applications Modernization strategy. You will lead three specialized teams—RPA, Digital Workflow, and Core Applications—to transform legacy processes into high-performance automated systems. This role is perfect for a senior-level engineer who excels in software architecture, DevOps practices, and team leadership.
Technical Qualifications
- Programming Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of C# .NET, Python, or Java. Experience with modern frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, Django, or Spring Boot) is highly preferred.
- Systems Architecture: Strong experience in designing and deploying enterprise-grade systems, including API Integrations, Microservices, and Database Management (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Enterprise Automation: Proven track record in managing Digital Workflow solutions (Power Automate, ServiceNow) and RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism) within a business context.
- Modern Engineering Standards: Expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps (Argo CD), and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
- Methodology: Advanced understanding of Agile/Scrum and Business Process Analysis (BPA).
- (Note: This is an IT/Software role. No PLC or Industrial Automation experience is required.)
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the architectural design for Digital Workflows and automation platforms to ensure scalability and security.
- Engineering Leadership: Mentor and manage three functional streams (RPA, Workflow, and Software Engineers) to maintain high code standards and best practices.
- Modernization Roadmap: Drive the transition of legacy insurance/financial applications into modern, automated ecosystems.
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between technical teams and business units to deliver high-ROI automation solutions.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven experience in leading leaders (managing Section Managers).
- Strong analytical thinking, project management, and the ability to drive change in a complex corporate environment.
