Job Description:

We are seeking an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to lead and govern the organizations strategic project and transformation portfolio. This executive role oversees enterprise-wide prioritization, investment decisions, and delivery discipline across all key initiatives. Candidates must bring strong leadership experience from insurance or financial services, with a proven record in enterprise transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Portfolio Strategy

  • Define and maintain the enterprise-level project and transformation portfolio aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Evaluate and prioritize initiatives based on strategic value, ROI, customer impact, regulatory needs, and resource capacity.

Executive Governance & Decision Leadership

  • Lead Enterprise Portfolio Governance forums with senior executives.
  • Drive decision-making on investment allocation, project approval, priority shifts, and program continuation/termination.
  • Ensure strong alignment across local and regional leadership teams.

Portfolio Performance Oversight

  • Monitor enterprise portfolio health: budget, schedule, risks, interdependencies, and outcome realization.
  • Provide transparent, data-driven reporting to C-level stakeholders.
  • Oversee benefit realization frameworks and ensure accountability across business units.

Standards, Methodology & PMO Excellence

  • Develop enterprise-wide PMO and portfolio management standards, governance frameworks, and delivery methodologies.
  • Build integrated dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for real-time visibility.
  • Mentor and uplift capability of program managers, portfolio managers, and transformation teams.

Optimization & Strategic Value Creation

  • Identify underperforming or low-value initiatives and recommend optimization, pivot, or termination.
  • Ensure organizational resources are allocated to the highest-value opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and enterprise agility.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in Transformation, PMO leadership, or Enterprise Portfolio Management in insurance or financial services.
  • Strong track record influencing and partnering with C-level executives.
  • Experienced in large-scale, multi-year enterprise programs (digital, operations, customer, regulatory, data/AI, core systems).
  • Deep understanding of insurance or financial services operations, value chains, and governance environments.
  • Strong analytical skills: ROI modeling, resource planning, risk assessment, and performance measurement.
  • Executive presence with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile-at-scale or Lean Portfolio Management is a strong advantage.
